The sole edition of the the only published work of William Frederick Wingfield (1813-1874), a travelogue, presented in epistolary form, of a journey undertaken in 1853 from Zagreb, down the coast of Dalmatia (present day Croatia), to Albania. Wingfield reports primarily on the history of Ragusa (Dubrovnik), but also includes an account of the plight of the Catholic population in the city of Shkodra in Ottoman controlled Albania.
