The second edition of a manual on riflery by Hans Busk the younger (1815-1882), one of the originators of the 'Volunteers'. As an undergraduate, Busk had lobbied the government to introduce rifle clubs as a defence measure, and founded a model rifle club at Cambridge in 1837.
