The sole edition of a satirical poem by Anglican clergyman John Savage (1673-1747), printed by William Bowyer; whose records show 750 copies printed. The poem contrasts the fashions of court with those of a country clergyman, written in rhyming couplets to emphasise the dichotomy of such lifestyles, and to add a degree of sarcastic ornamentation to provincial life.
