A new edition of English historian and ecclesiastic Henry Hart Milman's (1791-1868) verse drama, The Fall of Jerusalem. Milman would go on to write The Martyr of Antioch (1822), which served as the primary influence for Arthur Sullivan's (1842-1900) 'Sacred Musical Drama' of the same name, first performed in 1880.
